Explorem Ipsum is an open world puzzle game. Push through the puzzle-filled Catacombs filled with treasures and artifacts. Equip artifacts that change the way you traverse the dungeon and discover interesting solutions that might not have been intended.
Explore the mysterious Catacombs by collecting 4 mystical puzzle-solving artifacts in this Sokoban-Metroidvania, a SOKOBANIA!
- The Anchor of Xyzzy, an ancient relic that enables teleportation.
- The Hook Device, ancient technology for short traversal and remote object acquisition.
- The Switch Gizmo, a strange contraption that swaps your place with another object.
- And finally, the Capture Gauntlet, which allows you to put large heavy objects into your pocket.

Post-Jam release!
The original (Jam) version was made in 72 hours, along with the map editor. With a bit more time to cook I've added some new content:
- Complete revamp of all puzzles
- New starting area
- New tile types (namely: Bramble)
- New puzzles that test combinations of items.
- More sound effects

A great little puzzler, played terribly by me here:
Apologies for the slight pause in the middle as I had to rush out to bring the washing in.Nicely done! The Hook + Anchor puzzle stumped me for an embarrassingly long time, but now I’m pretty sure you don’t even need the Anchor to finish it.
An undo button would definitely be appreciated, but I see you’ve gotten that feedback on the Ludum Dare site too.
I liked this one a lot. Felt like I cheesed a lot of the puzzles, but that didn't take away from the enjoyment
