First Post-Jam Version Out Now! (Minor QoL changes, progression, tuning)


  • Progression has been updated. Instead of having to hit a certain population threshold to advance to the next section, you advance when you construct a particular structure.
    • After Phase 1, you unlock Education right away. You advance to Phase 2 upon constructing Education.
  • Adjusted costs of various late game structures.
  • Entertainment now has a flat reward rather than emitting resources over time. This was always the intent, but for the Jam Build I wanted Entertainment to be an escape valve for people that are feeling "done" with the game. This encourages you to mix up Decor and Entertainment, rather than just picking one "route."
  • When you attempt to build a structure without enough resources, the error message now helpfully tells you what you're missing.
  • If you cannot afford the current tooltipped thing, the tooltip cost is colored in Yellow.
  • The game no longer launches in edit mode by default when launched from the itch.io app.
